It was 2003 and I was 33 years old. I had just gotten married and inherited a beautiful 4 year old little girl named Mikayla, whom I soon adopted. I had always wanted to stay home with my children and now had to find a way to be able to fulfill that wish. In 2005 my husband J.J. and I attempted to have our first child together, which tragically resulted in a miscarriage. I found myself in a spot I never dreamed I'd be; suffering from feelings of constant grief and desperation. At age 35 and without any biological children, I truly felt that my time was running out. After much prayer and consideration, God blessed us with a second pregnancy in 2006, resulting in our gorgeous little boy Luke Noah who was born in July of 2007.

 

My husband J.J. owns a commercial construction company and has always been very supportive. With a need for supplemental income to provide our baby with the necessary diapers and formula, and a deep yearning for some adult interaction, I embraced my lifelong dream to start the business of which I'd always dreamed. Thus, Kim's Classy Creations was born in October of 2007.

 

As I look at where we are today, I am filled with gratitude and awe, owing a great deal of thanks to God and our many customers for allowing our dream to come true. God is so good and he truly works miracles and answers prayers! Here I am at 38 and very excited to announce, our 2nd son Levi Malachi was born September 2008 a healthy 7lbs 12oz.
